We’re growing and looking for a skilled, compassionate New York State Licensed Acupuncturist who is passionate about integrative healing, nervous system regulation, and whole-person care.
Role Overview
As an Acupuncturist at Lucent Healing, you’ll provide personalized treatments rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to support physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. You’ll work with clients experiencing a range of concerns, from stress and anxiety to pain management, hormonal balance, and overall wellness.
You’ll collaborate with a team of holistic practitioners and contribute to a welcoming, client-centered atmosphere.
This role offers flexibility to design a schedule that works for you, autonomy to grow your practice in your own way, and the opportunity to do meaningful work alongside a compassionate, supportive team. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality acupuncture treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough intakes, assessments, and treatment planning using TCM principles
- Maintain accurate, professional client documentation
- Create a safe, calming, and nurturing treatment experience
- Educate clients on lifestyle, nutrition, and self-care practices aligned with their treatment goals
- Maintain treatment rooms and uphold cleanliness and safety standards (including proper needle disposal)
- Collaborate with other practitioners to support integrated care plans
- Support a positive, heart-centered studio culture
Qualifications (required)
- Active New York State Acupuncture License (L Ac)
- Current NCCAOM certification (or eligibility, if applicable)
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and diagnosis
- Experience with acupuncture and related modalities
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Respectful team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a supportive, heart-centered work environment
Bonus (not required)
- Experience treating conditions such as chronic pain, stress/anxiety, fertility, women’s health, or digestive concerns
- Training in additional modalities such as herbal medicine, cosmetic acupuncture, or energy work
- Existing client following
- Experience in leading and participating in events, workshops, and community offerings
